Innovative. Determined. Empathetic.
Yasmeen brings more than 20 years of experience studying natural product ingredients and micronutrients and a decade of clinical research experience to Radicle Science. Her career spans preclinical and clinical research, scientific affairs, and cross-functional leadership, with a focus on translating rigorous science into meaningful impact. Before joining Radicle, she served as Senior Director of R&D for External Research at Niagen Bioscience, where she led the Niagen Research Program and developed and managed preclinical and clinical research supporting business acceleration.
Yasmeen holds a BS in Biological and Agricultural Engineering and a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, specializing in Toxicology, from Florida A&M University. Her academic career has included research in molecular nutrition, toxicology, metabolomics, clinical research, and foodomics. She has also held leadership roles with organizations including the American Society for Nutrition, Council for Responsible Nutrition, SupplySide Supplement Journal, and Women in Nutraceuticals.
Mentorship and service are central to Yasmeen’s work. In 2017, she set a personal mission to positively impact one billion people by empowering others to create a ripple effect of positive change—a goal that closely aligns with Radicle’s mission to empower one billion people to improve their health. She is passionate about building a healthier world, expanding resources and opportunities for underserved communities, and helping others succeed through mentorship.
Outside of science, Yasmeen is a wife and proud mother of two young men. Her happy place has always been on stage—whether dancing, acting, modeling, choreographing, singing, or giving a scientific presentation. She is deeply committed to community service and social action and is a lifetime member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Raised to be a revolutionary, joining the Radicle Rebellion felt like a natural fit.
