Jaime brings more than 20 years of experience in academic research, neuroscience, and clinical trial design to Radicle Science. A neuroscientist and President’s Distinguished Professor, she serves as Chair of the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience at Nova Southeastern University, where her research explores sleep, stress, and resilience—particularly in high-demand populations such as veterans, first responders, and tactical athletes.
Jaime earned her Ph.D. in Behavioral Neuroscience from the University of Florida and completed postdoctoral training at Harvard Medical School in neurophysiology and sleep, with additional training in Sleep Medicine at Harvard. She has authored more than 70 peer-reviewed publications and brings extensive experience as a principal investigator on randomized, placebo-controlled trials.
At Radicle, Jaime helps design rigorous clinical trials across nutraceutical and wellness categories, from the gut microbiome and probiotics to cognition and sleep. She loves bridging science and everyday life—turning rigorous research into evidence and tools that can extend healthspan, not just lifespan.
Outside of science, Jaime is bossed around by two ridiculous dogs (a teddy bear and an Italian greyhound), bankrolls college-age twins, and spends whatever time—and energy—she has left at Orangetheory.
